Child Players ACT presents
Alice Though the Looking Glass

4 Oct 2019 to 12 Oct 2019

Alice is a character that has many adventures in the works of Lewis Carroll.  In Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and its sequel Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There she journeys to outrageous lands with impossible people and things. In this story of Looking-Glass Land, Alice wonders what the world is like beyond what she can see in the mirror. After meeting the Red Queen in a wonderful garden and discovering that the land is a giant chessboard, Alice seeks to advance from her new status of White Pawn to a Queen. Each square of her chessboard journey brings a new bizarre character to encounter. With the help of other chess pieces, Humpty Dumpty and the Tweedles, Alice gets closer to the eighth square and her ultimate goal. But will she become a Queen before the snoring Red King wakes up and she disappears as a figment of his dream?
