Danny The Champion Of The World
Honest Puck  presents
Danny The Champion Of The World

10 Jan 2020 to 17 Jan 2020

Danny The Champion Of The World is based on the classic novel of the same name by Roald Dahl, and adapted for the stage by David Wood. Nine-year-old Danny lives happily in a gypsy caravan with his father, but his world is turned upside-down when he learns that his father poaches pheasants from the estate of the nasty, greedy Victor Hazell.

See the story come alive on stage this summer!

Presented by Honest Puck Theatre Company at the Perform Australia Theatre, 11 Whyalla St, Fyshwick.

Advice for younger viewers: There are some loud noises through the production. There is one scene where Danny is about to be caned on the hand by his teacher (this play is set in the 1970s). Lights go out before this occurs, so it is not shown.
