Eliza has been involved in the performing arts for 17 years, both onstage and off.

Trained in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, pole dancing, modern, belly dancing, lyrical, and contemporary, Eliza was thrilled to be invited to choreograph Canberra Philharmonic Society’s production of Evita.

An accomplished performer on stage, Eliza has been seen in productions such as Supa Productions’ Footloose and Eurobeat, ANU Interhall Productions’ Cats and Spamalot, Queanbeyan City Council’s Hair, and Everyman Theatre’s Rent, just to name a few.

Eliza has been nominated for two CAT Awards, one for Best Youth Actress in a School or Youth Play for her role as Marie in Woyzeck, presented by Canberra Grammar School, and has recently won a CAT Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of the character Patsy in Spamalot.

Eliza is also know to be a frequent member of musical theatre orchestras, including Phoenix Players’ How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Canberra Philharmonic Society’s Hairspray and Cabaret, and Supa Productions’ Witches of Eastwick. Eliza is also participating in the orchestra for Evita, which has been an eye-opening experience combining the worlds of music and dance within the one show.

In her spare time, Eliza is a flute teacher around Canberra, as well as running other drama courses and musical activities for students aged 5 to 70. She has a passion for teaching and education, and loves the fact that she was given the opportunity to meld these passions with choreography for Evita.
